The first step in producing genuine gold leaf is melting pure gold at a high temperature until it becomes liquid, preparing it for the forming process in the next stage. Careful temperature control and precise melting are crucial, as they directly affect the quality, smoothness, and purity of every piece produced.
We use gold bars with a standard purity of 96.5%–99.99% to ensure that the resulting gold leaf maintains the highest level of purity and quality.
After the gold has been melted, it is cast into small ingots and then rolled into thin, even sheets using standardized machinery with precise pressure control. This process requires expertise to ensure that the gold sheets achieve the proper thickness for the next stage of beating.
High-quality gold sheets must be free from tears or cracks, with consistent thickness and smoothness throughout.
One of the most crucial steps, requiring skilled craftsmanship, is the beating of gold using specialized tools to thin it down to the factory’s standards. Each strike demands unique techniques and extreme precision to prevent the gold from tearing or losing its shape.
High-quality gold leaf must be beaten until it is evenly thin, expanded to the required size, and finished with a beautiful, lustrous shine.
Once the gold sheets have been thinned to perfection, they move on to the cutting stage, where the gold leaf is trimmed to the sizes required by customers using ultra-sharp, specialized blades. The sheets are then carefully packaged in paper made specifically for holding gold leaf.
Certain sizes are specially produced for use in religious ceremonies, beauty and wellness businesses, culinary applications, and interior decoration.
